More than 90 NFL alumni are on the 2024 College Football Hall of Fame ballot which was announced earlier this week.

The final 2024 Class will not be known until early next year. Fifty-nine (59) schools have a candidate on the 2024 ballot.

The list of 2024 College Hall of Fame candidates includes four NFL alums who already are Pro Football Hall of Famers. Those four, who already are enshrined in Canton, are: Dan Hampton (who played at Arkansas); Marvin Harrison (Syracuse); Steve Hutchinson (Michigan); and Richard Seymour (Georgia).

The 2024 Hall of Fame ballot contains a total of 179 former college players. Familiar names include Larry Fitzgerald (Pittsburgh), Herman Moore (Virginia), Michael Oher (Mississippi) and Alex Smith (Utah). (See attached link here for full list of 2024 player candidates.)

“It is an honor for our alumni just to be nominated for the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta,” says NFL Alumni CEO Brad Edwards. “More than 5.6 million individuals have played college ball over the years but only 1,074 have been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Our alums played well on the field and they have represented their colleges and their NFL teams in a first-rate fashion. We are pleased to see them honored for their accomplishments.”

We at NFL Alumni will keep you updated and inform you when the final selections for the 2024 Class are made.
